Seems like a useless question to ask… “What are the most addicting sounds in the world??”

I think by “addicting”, what was meant was “the sounds we instictually respond to the most”…

If you’ve been listening to me for awhile, you’ve probably heard me play Color Me Corporate, where I try to prove that you know more about corporate logos, slogans, color schemes, and jingles than you do other common-knowledge stuff…

Well check out this study this guy did……. I’d be curious to see how much your own experience is close to what his “research” says it oughtta be… Check out his lists, and then leave a comment…

With Afentra’s prom coming up, April 3rd at the Midland we take a look back at everyone’s prom memories!

Afentra didn’t attend a prom, Jeriney took “a blind date” (a.k.a.her cousin) but Scoops was voted prom king!

Had to be a joke, right?

…..for years now, when it comes to the Buzz Prom, I’ve been hearing your prom stories… The experiences that left you drained, discouraged, degraded and dispirited… OK… It may be time to move on…

At least this time….

So I invite you to go ahead and give me what you THINK are your “good” prom stories… The ones you think qualify as a “good” memory… Lemme at ‘em… I’ll see if I can’t crown a Prom Prime Minister, or maybe a Prom Chancellor or something not quite so absolute as King/Queen… I’ll be updating this as we go along, up to the prom… Enough negativity, right??!!?

PROUD OF PROM (POP) #1: A real life Glee!! This is something that I was pretty impressed with, actually… Because it really undid some prom traditions…

Nothing like a little friendly sporting rivalry between two neighbors… But when you think about it, it’s pretty impressive that two huge nations sitting next to each other HAVE NOT gone to war in nearly two centuries… Look at the other continents on the planet……

….anyhow, over the weekend I was reading some stuff about the American Empire…. And I came across something I’d always wondered about… Did we ever have plans to invade or annex our neighbors to the north??… Turns out we most certainly did, and the last time we tried to grab some of Canada’s turf was in the early 1800s…

….curious to see if there was more about this, I stumbled upon an article from a few years back…. And I really shouldn’t have been so naive…. There were plans in place as recently as the 1930s, and for all I know they still are in place… It’s someone’s job, after all, to worry about these kinds of things…..

OK…. I get many many people asking me if I could perhaps play their band or their song on the air… I get many more asking how to get their show played on Homegrown Buzz (you’re on your own there)… But rarely have I encountered the persistence of this one amigo, this one guy who LOVES this band called Scotty Don’t…
