Unfortunately, I will not be able to join Afentra. I moved to Oklahoma City and am starting a new job next week. If I had been with my previous job I’m sure I would be able to take the phone call but I am not so sure this will be kosher with the new job.

Originally I had made this mylist so that it could be done before Afentra’s VD party but I am a procrastinator and didn’t get in on time. The theme of course is sex because all Vday is about is sex but eventually most guys end up like Fiona Apple says “limp in their own hand”. So that was the gist of my theme.

Since moving to Oklahoma, I am in the heart of the bible belt and the do not have alternative music. They bleep out words like sex and I definitely do not get the banter that goes on, on the Buzz. I tune in everyday on my computer and I feel like everyone on the Buzz keeps me grounded to Kansas City.

Thanks for such a great radio station! I hope it never ends.

…I do have a couple of go-to suppliers for lyrics that are tweet-worthy, that are fit for Facebook status-updates… Peter Murhpy, and The Archers of Loaf, both of whom you should check out… But the one band I’ve gone on and on about is Radiohead, and there was actually a time that I used a line of theirs as my e-mail signature…
